Capiz’s No. 3 most wanted suspect arrested in Dao

ROXAS CITY, Capiz — Capiz’s No. 3 most wanted person was arrested Monday afternoon, July 20, in Barangay Quinayuya, Dao, police said.

Police identified the suspect only as alias “Gon,” 43, a resident of the village.

Officers arrested him on the strength of a warrant issued July 17, 2026, by Regional Trial Court Judge Joan Marie Betita of Branch 14 in Roxas City.

The court did not recommend bail.

The suspect faces a qualified rape charge.

He remained in the custody of the Dao Municipal Police Station pending court proceedings.
