Capiz’s No. 2 most wanted arrested in Tapaz

ROXAS CITY, Capiz — The No. 2 most wanted person in Capiz province was arrested Sunday afternoon, June 14, in Tapaz, Capiz.
Police Maj. Gregg Anthony Salbang, Tapaz police chief, identified the suspect as alias Bebe, single, a laborer, and a resident of Sitio Lahug, Barangay Agcococ, Tapaz.
Police said the suspect was the No. 2 most wanted person at the provincial level and the No. 1 most wanted person at the municipal level for three counts of qualified rape.
The warrant of arrest was issued by Regional Trial Court Judge Rommel Lacson Leonor of Branch 21 in Mambusao, Capiz, on May 12, 2026.
The court recommended no bail for his temporary liberty.
The suspect is under the custody of the Tapaz Municipal Police Station for proper disposition and court referral.
