ROXAS CITY, Capiz — A man from Capiz who is wanted for rape voluntarily surrendered to the Altavas Municipal Police Station in Altavas, Aklan, on Thursday morning, June 4.
The suspect, identified only as alias Vic, 55, of Barangay Poblacion, Dao, Capiz, surrendered after learning of the warrant of arrest issued against him.
Police said the suspect is facing four counts of statutory rape before a court in Capiz.
The court recommended no bail for his temporary liberty.
He is under the custody of the Altavas police station for proper disposition and turnover to the court of origin.
