Capiz to receive modern farm equipment

ROXAS CITY, Capiz — Modern agricultural equipment will be turned over to farmers in Capiz.
The equipment came from the Philippine Center for Postharvest Development and Mechanization under its Agricultural Machineries and Post Harvest Facilities program.
Capiz Vice Governor James “Mitang” Magbanua said the modern equipment would be a big help for the agricultural sector in Capiz to boost production.
As a rice trader, Magbanua said that it was his dream for Capiz farmers to have modern and world class equipment for agriculture.
The Sangguniang Panlalawigan recently passed Resolution no. 644, series of 2021 authored by Board Member Eleuper M. Martinez authorizing the Capiz Provincial Government and PhilMech to enter into a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) for the donation of the following:
- Four-Wheel Drive Tractor
- Hand Tractor
- Precision Seeder
- Walk Behind Transplanter
- Riding Type Transplanter
- Reaper
- Combined Harvester
- Mini-Thresher
- Impeller Rice Mill
- Mechanical Dryer
- Recirculating Dryer
- Shredder
