Capiz remains Covid-19 free

ROXAS CITY, Capiz – The province of Capiz has remained free of coronavirus 2019 (Covid-19) so far.
Data released by the Provincial Health Office (PHO) indicated that from Jan 25 to Feb 1, 2023, there was no reported case of the infection.
At present, Capiz reported 13,623 Covid-19 cases since March 2020 to date, with 576 deaths.
But the Capiz Provincial Health Office PHO cautioned the public against complacency even if the province has no more active cases.
PHO chief Dr. Ramon Alex Nolasco said Covid-19 is an emerging and reemerging infectious disease the reason why the public should always be careful.
