Capiz receives P800-M SAP funds

ROXAS CITY, Capiz – Sixteen Local Government Units (LGUs) in Capiz received a total of P787,350,000 in Social Amelioration Program(SAP) funds from the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD). ROXAS CITY, Capiz – Sixteen Local Government Units (LGUs) in Capiz received a total of P787,350,000 in Social Amelioration Program(SAP) funds from the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD).

The town of Pilar got P44,538,000; Pontevedra-P52,056,000; President Roxas-P32,172,000; Sapian-P25,302,000; Sigma-P33,360,000; and Tapaz-P47,850,000.
The town of Panay has yet to submit the list of its beneficiaries to the DSWD Central Office.
According to Mayor Edgardo Arancillo, Dumarao has started releasing the SAP to their constituents last week.
Western Visayas got P6.8 billion from the Social Amelioration Program.
