Capiz receives 30,000 doses of COVID-19 vaccines

ROXAS CITY – The Capiz provincial government on Friday last week received 30,000 doses of vaccines against COVID-19.

The Provincial Health Office (PHO) said that this will be the 38th batch of vaccines given by the Department of Health (DOH).

The vaccines are composed of 24,570 doses of Pfizer BioNtech and 4,900 doses of Astrazeneca to be used for the continued and massive COVID-19 vaccination program of the provincial government of Capiz.

The PHO said the vaccines will be allocated to the following:

– A1 (Frontline Health Care Workers including OFWs)

– A2 (Senior Citizens)

– A3 (Adults and Children with Comorbidities including Pregnant Women)

– A4 (Essential Workers both in Public and Private Sector)

– A5 (Indigent / Poor Population)

– Rest of Adult Population (ROAP)

– Rest of Pediatric Population (ROPP)

Along with this, the Capiz Provincial Vaccine Operation Center and COVID-19 vaccination team assured the public of fair distribution of the vaccines to each local government unit.
