ROXAS CITY, Capiz – Two political aspirants in Capiz withdrew their certificates of candidacy (COC) two days before the deadline for the withdrawal and substitution of candidates.
Atty. Wil Arceño, Capiz provincial election supervisor, confirmed that Johnny Salcedo, a reelectionist Sangguniang Bayan member in Dumalag under PDP-Laban, withdrew his COC and was substituted by his daughter Ramona Mae Salcedo.
Another aspirant, Edwin Delmo, withdraw his COC as board member in the Second District of Capiz under PROMDI party without substitution.
