ROXAS CITY, Capiz — The Capiz Police Provincial Office, led by provincial director Col. Albert D. Tapulao, conducted a capacity-building seminar on proper financial governance for unit commanders and financial officers at Camp Teodorico C. Apil in Barangay Lanot, Roxas City, on Feb. 16, 2026.
Unit commanders, office heads and financial officers from various CPPO units and national support units based in Capiz attended the seminar.
The activity focused on budgeting, fund utilization, liquidation procedures, and compliance with accounting and auditing rules.
Organizers said the seminar aimed to strengthen internal controls and promote transparency and accountability in the use of Philippine National Police resources.
They said it also equipped participants with skills to manage government funds in line with existing policies and regulations.
