ROXAS CITY, Capiz— A veteran journalist in Capiz died due to an ailment Tuesday midnight.
Gerardo “Gerry” T. Pagharion, 59, of Elieta Street will be interred at the cemetery in Brgy. Bato here.
Pagharion was a multi-awarded editor of the Purisimian Magazine, the official student publication of the Colegio de la Purisima Concepcion.
Pagharion was also a former editor of the Western Visayas Daily Times (Capiz Section), The Capiz Times and the Pagbag-o Newsletter of the Roxas City Government.
He was also a former correspondent of local papers and national broadsheets.
