ROXAS CITY, Capiz – The former police chief of this city is set to assume as the new provincial police director of Capiz.
Police Colonel Julio Gustilo replaces Police Colonel Canilo Fuentes as Capiz Police Provincial Office (CPPO) director.
A turnover of command will be held today, Dec 2, 2019, at Camp Apil in Brgy. Lanot here.
Gustilo headed the Roxas City police before he was assigned to Guimaras.
Capiz Governor Esteban Nonoy Contreras endorsed Gustilo as new Capiz PPO chief in a letter sent to Lt. General Archie Gamboa, OIC PNP chief, through Police Regional Office (PRO)-6 Regional Director, Brigadier General Rene Pamuspusan.
Gustilo also served at PRO-6 and headed the Police Aviation Security Group at Iloilo International Airport.
