ROXAS CITY, Capiz– More or less P3 million worth of illegal drugs were recovered by the Capiz police in 2019.
Based on the data released by the Capiz Police Provincial Office (CPPO), 77 illegal drug operations were conducted, resulting in the arrest of 113 drug suspects, 108 of whom were charged in courts.
Roxas City Police Station mounted 27 operations, which resulted in the arrest of 44 drug suspects.
The Provincial Drug Enforcement Unit (PDEU) also mounted 27 operations that resulted in the arrest of 42 drug suspects.
Meanwhile, the seized illegal drugs weighed 296 grams with a market value at P3,552,002, based on reports of the Dangerous Drugs Board.
