ROXAS CITY, Capiz — Police arrested 13 wanted persons in one week of operations.
Based on the weekly accomplishment report of the Capiz Police Provincial Office from May 11 to 17, 2026, six of those arrested were classified as most wanted persons, while seven were listed as other wanted persons.
The seven arrested wanted persons were also charged with violation of Republic Act No. 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002, after authorities recovered about 132 grams of suspected shabu with a standard drug price of PHP 897,600 during the operations.
Meanwhile, two persons were charged with violation of Republic Act No. 10591, or the Comprehensive Firearms and Ammunition Regulation Act, after authorities recovered three firearms and one explosive, while 16 others voluntarily surrendered to police.
The accomplishments were part of Tokhang Kontra Armas-Luthang, or TKAL.
In addition, 18 fishermen were arrested in two operations for illegal fishing, during which authorities confiscated PHP 870,000 worth of fishing paraphernalia.
