BACOLOD City – The provincial government of Negros Occidental has released the P55,000 extra bonus for provincial employees.
The release was originally scheduled on Dec 20 but was delayed due to the late submission of the lists of employees from each department.
The cash bonuses were instead released on Thursday while the P5,000 performance enhancement incentive had already been released Monday.
The provincial government employs a total of 3,197 permanent and casual employees.
The bonus is lower compared to P80,000 for each employee in 2018.
The bonus was taken from the P323-million savings from personal services budget.
