BACOLOD City – Negros Occidental Governor Eugenio Jose Lacson and several other capitol officials tested negative of the coronavirus disease 2019, their swab results showed Sunday.
Lacson and the concerned capitol officials subjected themselves to a swab test being close contacts of Provincial Incident Management Team head Zeaphard Caelian who contracted the virus.
Aside from the governor, those who tested negative included Provincial Administrator Rayfrando Diaz, Provincial Health Officer Dr. Ernel Tumimbang and 13 others from Governor’s Office and Provincial Administrator’s Office who were all swabbed Sunday.
The Governor’s Office, Provincial Administrator’s Office and the PIMT offices which were placed under lockdown Friday are back to regular operation since Monday.
