BACOLOD City – Provincial Incident Management Team head Zeaphard Caelian confirmed to Daily Guardian on Friday that he contracted the coronavirus disease 2019 or COVID-19.
He said he is asymptomatic and is on home quarantine.
Caelian also said that he is trying to “unwind” as he was told “10 days na ini.”
Earlier, both Negros Occidental Governor Eugenio Jose Lacson and Provincial Administrator Atty. Rayfrando Diaz were confirmed to be on self-isolation after being close contacts of Caelian.
Both are scheduled for swab test this Sunday.
The Governor’s Office, Provincial Administrator and the PDMT offices were placed under lockdown for disinfection.
Apart from Caelian, three of his staff are also COVID-19 positive.
