ROXAS CITY, Capiz – A 53-year-old native of Capiz was arrested Saturday afternoon at Brgy. Cabugao Sur, Sta. Barbara, Iloilo for alleged violation of the anti-child abuse law.
Jovane Hagodilla of Brgy. Sibariwan, Dumarao did not resist when police served the warrant of arrest at his house in Sta. Barbara.
The suspect is facing charges for attempted rape and violations of Sec. 5 of Republic Act 7610.
Judge Faustino Valenzuela Roxas Jr. of the Regional Trial Court Branch 14 in Roxas City issued the warrant dated August 6, 2021.
The court recommended a P300,000 bail for his temporary liberty.
