BACOLOD City – The Negros Occidental Police Provincial Office (Nocppo) is preparing an administrative charge against a non-commissioned officer who flunked a drug test in December 2020.
Lieutenant Abegael Donasco, Nocppo’s deputy public information officer, said that the police officer was given five days to contest.
“Wala pa po kaming alam kung nakarating na sa kanya iyong tungkol sa admin case po,” she added.
Donasco said that the cop is currently on floating status at the Regional Personnel Holding and Accounting Unit (RPHAU) in Iloilo City.
The cop was among the five police officers who underwent a random preliminary drug test on December 9, 2020.
He was only the one who tested positive for drug use when the confirmatory results were released four days later.
