ROXAS CITY, Capiz— A 41-year-old call center agent was arrested by police Thursday morning in her house at San Lorenzo Subdivisions here.
Mary Beth Diente did not resist when the members of the Roxas City police served the arrest warrant issued by Iloilo City Municipal Trial Court in Cities (MTCC) Branch 6 Judge Larnie Fleur B. Palma on June 24, 2020.
The suspect was immediately released after posting a P10,000 bail.
Meanwhile, a 27-year-old man facing an illegal drugs case was arrested by Panit-an police Thursday morning at Barangay Cogon, Panit-an.
Aji Noriyushi Borci of Barangay Bailan, Pontevedra is facing charges for violation of Republic Act 9165 (Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002).
The warrant for his arrest was issued by Regional Trial Court (RTC) Branch 15 Judge Alma-Banias Delfin on August 31, 2016 with no bail.
Borci is detained at the Panit-an Municipal Police Station.
