Calatrava receives 2024 CBMS data files

CALATRAVA, Negros Occidental — The Municipality of Calatrava officially received its 2024 Community-Based Monitoring System data files, along with a notarized Data Turnover Agreement, from the Philippine Statistics Authority Negros Occidental.
Under Republic Act No. 11315, the CBMS is a nationwide system that generates updated and disaggregated local data for planning, budgeting, and targeted poverty-reduction programs, with cities and municipalities conducting synchronized data collection every three years.
Through the CBMS, the local government unit gains access to comprehensive and disaggregated data that can guide resource allocation, identify priority sectors, and support targeted interventions that respond to the needs of constituents.
The turnover underscores the collaboration between the PSA and the Municipality of Calatrava to make accurate, up-to-date data accessible for evidence-based governance and long-term development planning.
Nuñez received the flash drive containing the 2024 CBMS data files and signed the acknowledgment receipt on behalf of the municipality.
The data was officially delivered by representatives of the Philippine Statistics Authority Negros Occidental, led by Supervising Statistical Specialist Diesah S. Biaoco, Statistical Analyst Anna Carmella Gamilla, Information Systems Analyst I Benjie Lee P. Serinas, Statistical Specialist II Fredimar M. Gonzales, and Assistant Statistician April Rhea D.
