Cafgu stabbed dead by comrade

BACOLOD City – A member of the Citizen Armed Force Geographical Unit (Cafgu) was killed by his comrade at Yning detachment in Barangay San Pablo, Manapla, Negros Occidental last Monday.

The victim was identified as Joseph Claro, 41, of the said village, according to police records.

Investigation showed that the victim and the suspect identified as Noel Garcia, 30, of Victorias City were rendering their duties at the said detachment when a heated argument ensued between them.

Garcia then allegedly stabbed the victim’s abdomen with a bladed weapon and fled.

The victim was taken to a hospital where he was declared dead.
