The country’s premier electric vehicle brand, BYD Philippines—a proud subsidiary of AC Mobility—rolled out the red carpet in style with the grand opening of its posh new showroom and service center in Iloilo City, the heart of the City of Love.
The celebration was nothing short of spectacular, as the glittering guest list featured BYD Philippines’ top executives, led by none other than AC Mobility CEO Jaime Alfonso Zobel de Ayala, whose presence elevated the evening to a new level of elegance.
The inaugural festivities commenced with formal ribbon-cutting ceremonies, graced by Mr. Zobel de Ayala, then Iloilo City Mayor Jerry Treñas, BYD Iloilo President Paul Tinsay, and his equally accomplished wife Jackie Wong-Tinsay, who serves as CFO and COO. They were joined by their daughter, Christina Sofia Tinsay, BYD Iloilo’s media and marketing officer, and the ever-graceful family matriarch, Lolita Wong.
Also in attendance were BYD Cars Philippines Managing Director Bob Palanca, Network and After-Sales Director Errol Dueñas, and Deputy GM Lovelyn Labrador—each of whom underscored the importance of BYD Iloilo’s strategic expansion.
After the official program and toasts, VIP guests indulged in an exquisite culinary spread curated by celebrated Chef Wilson Esparancilla, offering a feast befitting the occasion’s sophisticated atmosphere.
BYD Iloilo’s showroom now stands as a dazzling addition to the city’s luxury landscape, elegantly situated on Pison Avenue, Atria Park District, Iloilo City.
