BACOLOD City – Police are exploring possible angles of old grudges or business in the killing of a businessman inside their store at Barangay 4 Poblacion, Himamaylan City, Negros Occidental last Tuesday.
The victim was identified as Ronnie Pabilona, 47.
Based on the investigation, Pabilona was eating lunch at their store when an unidentified person arrived and ordered food. The perpetrator then went out.
After a few minutes, he came back and shot the victim in the head with a .45-caliber pistol.
The victim was taken to Governor Valeriano M Gatuslao Memorial Hospital but was declared dead on arrival.
According to the police, they received information that the victim just came home to the province recently.
Police are checking the background of the victim for a possible lead in the investigation.
