ROXAS CITY, Capiz — A man from Bulacan province who is wanted for carnapping was arrested in Ivisan, Capiz, on Thursday afternoon, May 7, 2026.
Police identified the suspect as alias “Tope” of Purok 6, Barangay Barangca, Baliuag, Bulacan.
The warrant of arrest was issued by Regional Trial Court Judge Ruben Evangelista Sevillano of Branch 15 in Naic, Cavite.
The suspect is wanted for violation of Republic Act No. 10883, or the New Anti-Carnapping Act of 2016, for which the court recommended no bail for his temporary liberty.
The suspect is presently under the custody of the Ivisan Municipal Police Station for proper disposition and will be turned over to the court of origin.
Police said the suspect’s whereabouts were traced by Bulacan police in Capiz after concerned individuals informed authorities.
