Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP) Governor Eli M. Remolona Jr. (third from left) leads the BSP in welcoming guests from the banking community, diplomatic corps, representatives from the government and private sectors, and members of the media during the annual reception for the banking community at Fort San Antonio Abad in the BSP complex in Manila on 10 January 2025.
In his speech, Governor Remolona urged the banking community to continue working together with BSP on digitalization and financial inclusion. He also encouraged the BSP and banks to intensify their efforts on Open Finance to ensure that people can choose financial services that best suit their needs.
