The Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP) continued its tradition of donating to health institutions during the month-long commemoration of its 28th anniversary on July 3.
For this year, the BSP turned over checks worth Php 15 million to the Philippine Red Cross (PRC) and Php 4 million to the Philippine General Hospital (PGH).
“These health institutions are at the frontlines of the fight against COVID-19, which is key to the country’s economic recovery. The BSP continues to support whole-of-nation efforts to address the health crisis,” according to BSP Governor Benjamin E. Diokno.
