Brothers fall in drug sting

Two brothers were arrested in a police anti-illegal drugs operation at City Proper district, Iloilo City.
Police identified the suspects as Neomar Vinzon, 35, and Nechole Vinzon, 30, both residents of Zone 8, Barangay Veterans Village.
The duo was arrested in a buy bust operation 12:41 a.m. of March 13.
Members of the Iloilo City Police Station 1 collared them after selling a sachet of suspected shabu for P2,500.
Recovered from the suspects were four more sachets of suspected shabu and several non-drug items.
Captain Mavin Laraño, Iloilo City Police Station 1, said the two are newly-identified suspects and are categorized as street level pushers.
The Vinson brothers are now detained and will be charged for violation of Republic Act 9166 (Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002).
