Brooks Ready to Compete in Miss Eco International 2025

Ilongga beauty queen Alexie Mae Caimoso Brooks is set to represent the Philippines in the upcoming Miss Eco International 2025 pageant in Egypt on April 8.

During her send-off and media conference on March 11, Brooks vowed to deliver her best performance and bring pride to the country.

She shared that her team has been preparing extensively, focusing on question-and-answer training, runway performance, and advocacy work centered on women empowerment.

“I’ve been preparing really well for this. Of course, we are known for our ‘pasabog’, and we have plenty—especially in styling, overall looks, and the gown,” Brooks said.

“There’s a lot to watch out for, and I’ll give it my best as always—even more this time, since I am representing our country.”

She assured that she is not only physically prepared but also mentally and emotionally ready for the competition.

As this marks her first international pageant, she acknowledged the pressure but considers it a privilege.

Brooks believes her athlete’s mindset sets her apart from other contestants, giving her a competitive edge.

“As an athlete, I’m always competitive and have a winning mindset,” she said.

She also shared a personal mantra that keeps her motivated every day.

“Every morning, I wake up with a positive affirmation,” she said.

“Right now, I’m at a stage in my life where I have nothing to lose—I’m representing the Philippines. It’s either a lesson to learn or another opportunity for me. I’m really excited,” she added.

The beauty queen-athlete will also promote her advocacy, “Abanse Babaye,” which highlights women’s contributions to society.

She dedicated her journey to her late grandmother, Lola Basing, and to the Ilonggos and Filipinos who continue to support her.
