The Benigno Aquino Bridge at Diversion Road in Mandurriao district and Nabitasan Bridge at Lapaz district are the latest attractions in Iloilo City with the installation of LED tube lights.
Iloilo City Task Force Boltahe and City Engineer’s Office spearheaded the installation while the LED lights were sponsored by the Uswag Ilonggo group.
Amid the pandemic, Mayor Jerry Treñas said the illumination of the two bridges is part of his vision to beautify the city and use visual aesthetics to ease the anxiety and stress of Ilonggos.

Iloilo City government is investing in projects to beautify the city’s landmarks and sceneries.
The Beautification Program of the city government has been spearheading the planting of trees and flowers in the public areas in the metro.
