The ₱3.92-million project, funded under the district’s 2022 General Appropriations Act (GAA) allocation, involved the repair and renovation of Maquina Bridge along Balabag-Maquina-Cayos-Patlad Road in Barangay Cayos-Patlad.
According to District Engineer Allan Rey R. Regional Director Nerie D. Bueno of DPWH 6 emphasized that the rehabilitation of the said bridge would bring numerous benefits, including improved accessibility, employment opportunities, investment, and overall quality of life.
