This July 17 to 20, 2025, coffee enthusiasts are in for a flavorful journey as the Iloilo Coffee Fest returns to the Iloilo Convention Center with four days of conversations, competitions, and collaborations.
Organized by the Iloilo Coffee Board and the Iloilo Coffee Council in partnership with MAFBEX and Worldbex Services International, this year’s festival aligns with the country’s biggest food and beverage expo.
Iloilo Coffee Fest is where the threads of the coffee value chain meet: from farmers and shop owners to curious consumers and seasoned baristas.
In 2024, the Iloilo Coffee Fest and its partner expos drew over 15,800 visitors and 171 companies. This year, organizers are preparing for record-breaking numbers as the event gains momentum in bridging stakeholders across the region and beyond.
What’s Brewing
The fest features a mix of insightful discussions, showcase of local talent, and tasting experiences designed to spark creativity and collaboration:
Istorya Kape (July 17 and 20)
Coffee farmers will take center stage in talks co-organized with the Department of Agriculture and the Department of Trade and Industry, sharing stories from bean to brew. On July 20, sessions on Milk Science, Coffeeshop 101, and Cafe Marketing (in partnership with Prometheus) will guide aspiring and established coffee-preneurs alike.

Hampang Kape (July 18)
Baristas will bring their A-game in a latte art throwdown and brew-down competition, turning technique into performance.
ASEAN Barista Team Competition (July 19)
Teams will battle for a chance to represent Iloilo at the national level, with national winners going on to showcase their skills at the ASEAN stage.
Cupping Sessions (July 20)
Attendees can taste and evaluate various brews, fostering a deeper appreciation for local beans.
Beyond being a gathering spot for coffee lovers, Iloilo Coffee Fest aims to generate investment opportunities, inspire innovation, and strengthen collaboration across the coffee ecosystem. Partnerships with the Department of Trade and Industry will also help connect local farmers to potential buyers.
As the scent of freshly ground beans fills the halls, organizers hope the conversations and connections made at the Iloilo Convention Center will ripple outward.
Iloilo Coffee Fest 2025 is open to the public. Whether you’re a farmer, a cafe owner, or someone who simply loves their daily cup, Iloilo Coffee Fest is where your coffee story deepens.
