The relentless search for a three-year old boy ended Saturday morning after his body was found under the bridge at Tigum River in Barangay Amerang, Cabatuan, Iloilo.
The body of Earl Scottie Bolaños was found near the area where he was believed to have drowned on October 27.
His body was pinned beneath debris of sticks and branches.
A resident, 68-year-old Salvador Palma, discovered the cadaver after smelling foul odor emanating from the debris.
Relatives of Bolaños immediately recognized the body through his clothes.
According to reports, the boy went with his father to go fishing around 9 am Tuesday. He stayed at the riverbank while his father was a few meters away from him.
