BACOLOD City – A two-year-old boy drowned in a hole being constructed for a septic tank at the back of their house in Barangay Igmayaan, Don Salvador Benedicto, Negros Occidental on June 30, 2019.
Police withheld the name of the victim.
According to Police Staff Sergeant Ramon Juablar, investigator, the victim’s family thought that the victim went with his six-year-old cousin to take a bath. But, he was found floating past 1 p.m. inside the hole.
It was raining when it happened, and the child probably fell in the hole, he added.
The victim’s 17-year-old mother was at home, but she was taking care of her three-month-old baby.
