A 15-year-old boy was wounded after he was stabbed afternoon of September 7 in San Jose, Antique.
The incident happened just outside a high school campus at Rodriguez Subdivision, Barangay 8, San Jose.
The victim was only identified as alias Boyboy, a Grade 9 student from Poblacion 3, Hamtic town.
Initial reports indicated that police had two suspects. They are both 15 years old and Grade 10 students from San Jose town.
But it appeared that only one of them stabbed the victim.
Staff Sergeant Sheila Mae Farparan from the San Jose PNP Women and Children’s Protection Desk said the incident stemmed from an altercation among students that led to a brawl.
The victim allegedly tried to pacify the fight but a group of students, including the suspects, ganged up on him.
One of the suspects then stabbed Boyboy with an ice pick.
They were immediately arrested and put under custody with the Municipal of Social Welfare and Development Office (MSWDO) for proper intervention.
