ROXAS CITY, Capiz— A 12-year-old boy died of electrocution afternoon of Aug 3, 2019 at Sitio Binalabag, Barangay Sibaguan here.
Mike (not his real name), a Grade 7 student of Capiz National High School, died in a hospital here.
According to Micheal Buhe, his son and other siblings went to a fishpond to catch fish. But while on their way home, he accidentally stepped on a live wire of the Capiz Electric Cooperative (Capelco).
The family blamed the management of Capelco for neglecting the wayward wire.
