BACOLOD City – A 10-year-old boy was hurt after he allegedly tried to drive a tricycle parked at the Bantayan park in Bago City, Negros Occidental on July 2, 2019.
The name of the victim was withheld.
Police investigation showed that the child was on board a tricycle when the driver, Gino Narciso left him for a few minutes.
The child then tried to drive the tricycle but he lost control and fell into the river.
He was immediately rescued by concerned residents and emergency responders.
