In November 2021 the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) Board of Agriculture announced that a total of 1,172 out of 3,924 examinees nationwide, or 29.87%, passed in the Agriculturist Board Examination. In 236 schools nationwide, 986 out of 2,791, or 35.33% of the first takers passed. One hundred eighty-six (186) out of 1,133, or 29.6%, of the re-takers passed.
At the Regional level, 10 schools in Western Visayas out of 29, or 34.5%, performed high or with a passing percentage higher than that of the national level. The Region produced 72 passers out of 244 takers, or 29.51% passing percentage. There were 151 first takers and 93 repeaters who took the said examination. The first takers passing percentage is 39.74%.
On the other hand, the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) announced that a total of 612 out of 1,621 examinees nationwide, or 37.75%, passed in the Social Worker Licensure Examination in August 2021. In 100 schools nationwide, 427 out of 744, or 57.39% of the first takers passed. One hundred eighty five (185) out of 877, or 21.09%, of the re-takers passed. Talitha Charis Mari Frondoza Narido of Central Philippine University ranked number 8 in the said examination for Social Workers.
At the Regional level, 5 schools in Western Visayas out of 7, or 71.4%, performed high or with a passing percentage higher than that of the national level. The Region produced 77 passers out of 126 takers, or 61.11% passing percentage. There were 75 first-takers and 51 repeaters who took the said examination. The first takers passing percentage is 80%. The repeaters passing percentage is 33.33%.
In January 2021, the PRC Board of Medical Technology announced that a total of 1,919 out of 2,835 examinees nationwide, or 67.69%, passed the Medical Technologist Licensure Examination. In 129 schools nationwide, 1,761 out of 2,353, or 74.84% of the first takers passed. One hundred fifty-eight (158) out of 482, or 32.78%, of the re-takers passed.
At the Regional level, 2 schools in Western Visayas out of 6, or 30%, performed high or with a passing percentage higher than that of the national level. The Region produced 118 passers out of 187 takers, or 63.1% passing percentage. There were 148 first takers and 39 repeaters who took the said examination. The first takers passing percentage is 68.24%. The repeaters passing percentage is 43.59%.
In September 2021, the PRC announced that a total of 507 out of 1,391 examinees nationwide, or 36.45%, passed the Agricultural and Biosystems Engineering Examination. In 53 schools nationwide, 443 out of 1,059, or 41.83% of the first takers passed. Sixty-four (64) out of 332, or 19%, of the re-takers passed. One (1) school in Western Visayas out of 4, or 25%, performed high or with a passing percentage higher than that of the national level. The Region produced 21 passers out of 61 takers, or 34.43% passing percentage. There were 50 first-takers and 11 repeaters who took the said examination. The first takers passing percentage is 32%. The repeaters passing percentage is 45.45%.
On the other hand, in May 2021, the PRC announced that a total of 776 out of 1,911 examinees nationwide, or 40.61%, passed the Radiologic Technologist Examination. In 98 schools nationwide, 600 out of 1,114, or 53.86% of the first takers passed. One hundred seventy-six (176) out of 797, or 22.08%, of the re-takers passed. One (1) school in Western Visayas out of 4, or 25%, performed high or with a passing percentage higher than that of the national level. The Region produced 47 passers out of 163 takers, or 28.83% passing percentage. There were 36 first-takers and 127 repeaters who took the said examination. The first takers passing percentage is 86.11%. The repeaters passing percentage is 12.60%.
