The Army’s 302nd Infantry Brigade in partnership with the Provincial Health Office and the Sub-National Blood Center for Visayas headed by Evelyn Montibon, Blood Program Coordinator of the Provincial Health Office, conducted a Joint Blood Letting on November 30, 2020 at Camp Leon Kilat, Brgy Sta Cruz Viejo, Tanjay City, Negros Oriental.
The event was participated by soldiers, ROTC cadets, Reservists and CAFGUs from the 302nd Brigade, 703rd CDC and Delta Company of 11IB.
A total of 15,000cc bags of blood were collected as donation to the Province of Negros Oriental.

The activity aimed to raise the awareness on the importance of donating blood to help save lives of those who are in need, especially the Negrenses. This is a proof that the bayanihan spirit in our soldiers’ lives continuously exist without expecting anything in return.
Ms Montibon was thankful to the Achievers for participating despite their busy schedule in securing the land. They found time to volunteer and be part of the activity.

Rest assured your army in Negros Oriental will not only secure the land, but will help the Negrenses in every way possible. Through the spirit of Bayanihan this activity will continue on for the benefit of everybody. May the spirit of Christmas help us all find happiness through the simplest things and let us rejoice in the spirit of giving.”
