PBA team Blackwater Elite and their coach Ariel Vanguardia organized a two-day online seminar for coaches here and abroad.
Intending to help the coaches gain more knowledge amid the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, Vanguardia with the help of his team started the Hoop Coaches International’s Webinar.
The International’s Webinar featured former Talk N’ Text head coach and current Indiana Pacers assistant Bill Bayno and Angola national team head tactician Will Voigt for the first day.
On the second day, the coaches who participated got the chance to listen from Poland national team’s head coach Mike Taylor, NBA G-league Erie Bayhawks head coach Ryan Pannone, and assistant coach of the University of North Carolina, Aaron Fearne.
Vanguardia, Quinito Henson, and sports psychologist Tedi Villasor were the International’s Webinar moderators.
“The response has been unbelievable. We had attendees not only local coaches but also from neighboring Southeast Asian countries,” said Vanguardia.
