Blackwater Elite team owner Dioceldo Sy and his management are ready to face the consequences after his squad held a practice session ahead of the PBA’s proposed schedule.
Aside from the 100,000-peso fine penalized by the PBA, the team might face more after violating some of the Games and Amusement Board’s (GAB) guidelines.
However, Blackwater owner Sy did not take their violations that easily and was not ready to accept it at first.
During an interview, Sy said that he felt he was being bullied by the PBA and described GAB Chairman Abraham Mitra’s involvement as “nakikisawsaw”.
After how many days, Sy then apologized to both sports association commissioners, Willie Marcial of the PBA and Mitra of GAB.
For now, Sy said that he is ready to reconcile with both PBA and GAB and will do all measures for them to accept his sorry.
Also, Sy’s statement that he will sell his team for a staggering amount of 150M pesos was not true and said that his words were out of frustration.
