BACOLOD City – Another case of fatal shooting happened at Barangay 5 here yesterday, this time victimizing the son of a businessman.
The victim was identified as Jeffrey Keng Seng, 40, of Barangay 1.
Lieutenant Jovito Pastrana, deputy commander of Police Station 2, said Seng was driving a Nissan Patrol when he was shot by two unidentified men on board separate motorcycles at the intersection of Lacson Street and B.S. Aquino drive in Barangay 5.
“May nag iping lang sa iya duwa ka motor kag gin bakbakan siya, igo sa driver’s side,” Pastrana said.
The victim then drove the vehicle to ask for police assistance. But, due to the severity of his gunshot wounds, he fell unconscious causing the car to stop in a vacant lot near the police station at Barangay 3, where he was found lifeless.
Police are looking into property dispute within the family as possible motive in the killing.
This is the fifth shooting incident reported here since June 1.
