ROXAS CITY, Capiz – A businessman and a drug surrenderrer were arrested Friday last week in a drug buy-bust operation conducted by the Capiz Provincial Drug Enforcement Unit at Sitio Crossing in Barangay Bato, Panay, Capiz.
Police identified the suspects as Raymundo Tumlos III, 32, a businessman and resident of Brgy. Adlawan here; and Elven Bellosillo, 27, a drug surrenderer from Panay town.
Recovered from the suspects were 13 sachets of suspected shabu valued at P88,400.00; a cellphone; a motorcycle and the P23,500 marked money.
Police said Tumlos was jailed recently for the same offense.
Charges for violations of Republic Act 9165 or Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 will be filed today, April 12, against the suspects before the Capiz Provincial Prosecutor’s Office.
