ROXAS CITY, Capiz– A businessman here denied that he paved the way for the entry of the controversial KAPA Community Ministry International Inc. (Kabus Padatoon) in Roxas City and the province of Capiz.
According to Mario Ramos, he had no idea about KAPA’s supposed outreach orientation here.
The outreach was announced via Facebook by KAPA Iloilo-Pavia Branch under its officer-in-charge Isagani Capitle.
Ramos said he did not expect that many people from different provinces will attend the orientation program. He also had no inkling that the controversial investment scheme of KAPA was its way to gain more members.
He added that he, too, donated P5,000 to KAPA in the hope of receiving the 30 percent Love Gift.
President Rodrigo Duterte recently ordered authorities to crackdown on KAPA due to dubious investment schemes.
