ROXAS CITY, Capiz – Big challenges await the incoming police chief of the Roxas City Police Station following the transfer of Police Lt. Col. Ricardo Jomuad Jr. to Police Regional Office (PRO)-6 in Iloilo City effective June 1, 2021.
Pol. Col. Julio Gustilo Jr., Capiz police director, is hoping that Lt. Col. Aron Palomo will do good or even surpass the achievements of Jomuad.
Palomo’s assumption coincides with the imposition of the Modified Enhanced Community Quarantine (MECQ) in Roxas City.
Iloilo native Palomo was with the logistic division of PRO-6 before his assignment here.
Gustilo said that Palomo has been the police chief of different Municipal Police Stations and Public Information Officer (PIO) of Iloilo Police Provincial Office (IPPO) prior to his assignment to PRO-6.
This will be the first component city where he is assigned as police chief.
Palomo is expected to visit the Capiz Police Provincial Office (CPPO) for a courtesy call on Gustilo.
