Rising Filipina racing talent Bianca Bustamante will compete in the 2026 Eurocup-3 Winter Series and the Eurocup-3 Championship Series after signing with Palou Motorsport, marking her next step in European single-seater racing.
The 20-year-old will make her Eurocup-3 debut on Feb. 20–22 during Round 1 of the three-event 2026 Eurocup-3 Winter Series at Autódromo Internacional do Algarve in Portimao, Portugal.
Round 2 of the Winter Series is scheduled for Feb. 27 to March 1 at Circuito del Jarama, followed by the third and final round on March 13–15 at MotorLand Aragón.
“I could not be more excited to announce the step up into Eurocup 3 with Palou Motorsport with the technical support of PREMA Racing. Palou Motorsport has had some great achievements since its formation including podiums and a maiden win last season, and its new partnership with PREMA Racing – a team I know well from my time in F1 Academy – gives me confidence that we will work well together,” Bustamante said in a statement.
“Having that familiarity while learning a new car and new series will be really helpful as I prepare for the season ahead,” she added.
Bustamante also shared her excitement in a personal message reflecting on her return to familiar colors and teams as she continues her progression in international motorsport.
“Two years later, I find myself back in red ❤️🩹 just a step higher and a couple kph faster hehe. So so happy to announce that I’ll be joining Palou Motorsport for the @eurocup_3 season with technical support by @prema_team AAAAAA 🥹👊🏻 Such an honour to be part of an incredible squad led by Ramon Palou & @alexpalou , and to work again 2 years later with the technical crew of PREMA Racing, a team I raced with in the 2023 F1 Academy season. A combined group of highly experienced and determined people behind this, and I can’t wait to continue learning and growing with their guidance!!”
She also acknowledged the challenges of sustaining a racing career and thanked those who continue to support her journey.
“Another big year in my motorsport career, competing all over Europe in a bigger and faster car. It’s such a blessing to be able to compete again, year after year. Everyone knows how incredibly difficult it is to survive in this sport, and even more so to move up 🥺 I truly couldn’t be doing this without everyone’s support, my team, my sponsors, especially my long term supporters @kuyalee & @theleecollectionperth , and of course, all of you that have been with me since the beginning on this beautiful journey. So so grateful.”
As one of the world’s leading single-seater teams, PREMA Racing will provide top-tier technical support to Palou Motorsport, giving Bustamante access to advanced engineering expertise, simulator tools and technical resources throughout the season.
The move follows a pivotal 2025 campaign in the GB3 Championship, with the Eurocup-3 program seen as a strategic step toward Bustamante’s long-term ambition of reaching FIA Formula 3 and ultimately Formula 1, while gaining valuable experience against a competitive international grid.
