Beautician, two others nabbed in drug sting

ROXAS CITY, Capiz – A 32-year-old beautician and two others were arrested in separate drug buy-bust operations on March 2, 2019 here and in President Roxas town.

Members of the Provincial Drug Enforcement Unit (PDEU), Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA 6) and President Roxas PNP arrested Jonathan Dela Cruz of Brgy. 7 here in a drug bust at his beauty parlour in Sitio Tinundan, Brgy. Poblacion, President Roxas.

Recovered from the suspect were three sachets of suspected shabu, P500 marked money and a cellphone. He is detained at the President Roxas Municipal Police Station.

Meanwhile, two more persons were arrested in another buy-bust operation conducted by Station Drug Enforcement Team of Roxas City Police Station in Barangay 5 here.

Police identified the suspects as Jessie Abangco, 33, of Barangay Milibili, and Viviana Aniera, 58, also from Roxas City.

Recovered from the suspects were 13 sachets of suspected shabu and P1, 000 marked money.

The two are detained at Roxas City Police Station while charges for violations of Republic Act 9165 or Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 will be filed against them.
