Lieutenant Colonel Ariel Pico, BCPO’s public information officer, said that police officers, particularly personnel of Police Station 2, were already advised to check on the case.
Pico said a resident in the area reported to the police that a woman who was walking alone was allegedly forced inside a car around 7 p.m.
But Pico said no missing person report was filed with the police since last night.
“We cannot confirm anything yet,” Pico said, adding that the witness just narrated to the authorities what he claimed to be an alleged abduction based on the manner or the actions of those persons involved.
“Gin hakos kuno ang baye pasulod sa salakyan. Ga lain-lain abi, may ara nga Avanza kag Innova ang salakyan na gingamit kuno, alleged lang man,” Pico said.
He also said that there was no closed-circuit television (CCTV) camera in the area which could help them identify the alleged victim and the perpetrators.
