BACOLOD City – The Bacolod City Police Office (BCPO) got 55 additional personnel from Police Regional Office (PRO) – 6 last December 2020.
Lieutenant Colonel Ariel Pico, BCPO’s Public Information Officer, said yesterday that the additional police officers completed their Basic Internal Security Operations Course (BISOC) training and were permanently assigned to the city police force.
They were detailed at the Bacolod City Mobile Force Company before deployed to the 10 police stations here, he added.
Pico said these personnel will focus on insurgency operations.
He said they arrived in the second week of December, replacing the 71 personnel who were temporarily detailed to the BCPO as augmentation for the yuletide season. The 71 augmentation personnel already returned to Iloilo City for their BISOC training.
At present, the BCPO has more than 600 personnel.
