BACOLOD City – The Bacolod City Police Office (BCPO) will start deploying more than 50 policemen here as part of their security plan for the Holy Week and summer vacation.
Police Lt. Col. Sherlock Gabana, BCPO’s public information officer, said two police officers will be assigned to police assistance desks in churches starting April 13, 2022.
The deployment of officers to beach resorts will start Monday, April 11.
Gabana said that station commanders were advised to ensure that no untoward incidents will happen in their areas of jurisdiction during the said occasion.
He also urged house owners to ensure that their houses are secured if they plan for a vacation to prevent criminals from taking advantage of the situation.
He said the security plan for the said occasion is all set.
Despite the ease on restrictions considering that the city is under Alert Level 1, Gabana said that police will continue to ensure that minimum health protocols will still be observed.
