BCMHCC joins observance of Suicide Prevention Month

The Bacolod City Mental Health Care Center (BCMHCC) headed by Dr. Romeo A. Orcajada Jr. joins the national observance of September as Suicide Prevention Month. The activity had the following objectives: to commemorate Suicide Awareness Month, to spread awareness against the stigma of suicide and to equip mental health professionals with the necessary skills to deal with suicide.
The Bacolod City Mental Health Care Center (BCMHCC) headed by Dr. Romeo A. Orcajada Jr. joins the national observance of September as Suicide Prevention Month.
The activity had the following objectives: to commemorate Suicide Awareness Month, to spread awareness against the stigma of suicide and to equip mental health professionals with the necessary skills to deal with suicide.
Dr. Orcajada delivered a lecture on Suicide Prevention and Treatment which was attended by PGIs, Family Medicine Residents of BAMCI, and other mental health professionals. (Adelyn D. Sia)
